Birds and Bats

Boxes to provide homes for owls, bats, and all kinds of birds have been installed in trees around Hurworth including Lychgate, Goblin Wood, throughout the Grange grounds.

EPICH sources nestboxes from "Darlington Cares", and the Youth Offending Service, and makes them available to Hurworth residents free of charge during National Nestbox Week.
